Project Summery
To address the effects of the devastating war in Tigrai, ERDA has designed a project proposal entitled ‘Protecting War Affected Children, Women & Elders in Tigray; under a motto of ‘From IDP to Rehabilitation & Reintegration’. Main objective of the envisaged project is to ensure the protection, rehabilitation & reintegration of 70300 war affected people; which includes 20,000 separated & unaccompanied children, 40,500 GBV women and 9,800 elders.
To this end ERDA has signed project agreement with six government sectors namely, Bureau of Finance & Economic Development, Bureau of Labor & Social Affairs, Bureau of Agriculture & Rural Development, Bureau of Education, Bureau of Health and Bureau of Women Affairs to establish nine cluster centers in collaboration with government and non-governmental organizations.
