Children from Tigrai Appeals to Stop Starvation

Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC) from Tigrai who lost /separated from/ their family due to the continuing war in Tigrai call the International Community to take action strongly demanding food and peace.  During the African Child Day celebration UASC from Elshadai Relief & Development Association requested the Global Actors to take a measure for the starvation occurring in children across Tigrai.  
Founder and Executive Director of Elshadai Relief & Development Association, Yemane Weldemariam on his remark noted that humanitarian partners should give due attention to the people of Tigrai specially children highly affected by the war. “Children are not only missing food and medicine; they are also missing their beloved families, relatives and their home villages. They are not getting an access for education yet”, added Yemane.

The children who are getting protection at Elshadai in Mekele extended their appeal letter to the People of the World, United Nations Secretary General and the African People. 
In their letter of appeal the children are asking to have an access to food, medicine and requesting peace that could enable them to reunify with their families. 

Elshadai is providing educational access for Children under 6th grade in his well-known kindergarten and elementary school in Mekele and Wukro.
